* Is it safe to use my credit card? Yes. You data is fully protected. Our server is using an SSL connection during the booking. Furthermore, we don't store any details of your credit cards. During the reservation process, your cards details will only be passed to the hotel.
* How does SSL connection protect my data? We are using SSL 128-bit encoding. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol is encoding your personal data in such a way that it cannot be decoded while it travels through the Internet. This protocol guarantees that the information exchange is happening only between the client and the booking server and cannot be intercepted by any other third party.
* What is the booking process on your web site? 1. Search - Search for a hostel, choose your country, city and dates, and then click the Search button. You will be shown a list of available hostels which match your requirements. 2. Select - Select a hostel to view more information including prices and availability. Select the number of beds or rooms you require and click Book. 3. Book - Check the booking form is correct and then insert your personal data and credit card details. All bookings must be made using a valid credit card. We accept American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, JCB, and Aura. Terms and conditions must be accepted by ticking the box. 4. Confirm - Click the Confirm button and wait until your booking has completely processed and your confirmation page is shown.
* Can I receive additional fax confirmation from the hotel? After you are done with booking, you will find hotel's contact information in your confirmation. You may wish to call the administration to send you the fax. However, nowadays, Internet confirmations equal faxes, and are most likely to be accepted in visa applications as well as other purposes.
* Are there any hidden costs? No. During booking confirmation you will pay 10% deposit and €2 booking fee. The remaining final price (90%) is what you should pay on your checkout at the hotel.
* When and how will I pay? You will pay 10% deposit at once plus €2 booking fee. The remaining 90% are to be settled on your checkout at the hotel reception either by cash, travel cheques or credit cards acceptable by the hotel. Some hotels may preauthorise your credit card before your arrival, i.e., preauthorise payment for the first night of your stay.
* Why do I have to provide my credit cards details? All hotels require a credit card as a guarantee of the reservation. Thus every one needs a credit card to make a booking. It doesn't have to be your card, you can use your friend's one or someone's of your family members. You may also wish to get one of those prepaid cards from your local bank or drugstore. You will have to make the actual payment at the hotel check-out and there you can usually pay either with cash or a card.
* What credit cards can I use? We accept the following cards: - Master Card - Visa Electron - Visa - American Express - JCB - Aura
* Prices for the same room in the same hostel are different for various days. Why is it so? A typical question: "Wednesday price for a hostel is different from that of other working days and nearly twice as that of Thursday price, nearly as Friday and Saturday prices. Though, Thursday and Sunday prices are lower. Why is it so?" Although these prices look unnatural, every hostel sets the prices for each day and then for each room and sometimes even for each bed separately. Our agency does only hotel and hostel brokerage, and thus, we cannot change the prices set by the providers. It is probably the case that on that day, in that hostel, in the very room there was only one bed left and the hostel sells the last places for somewhat higher prices, like the airlines do. Therefore, to guarantee the lower prices, we recommend you to book in advance.
* What kind of facilities are available in hostels? Most (but not all) establishments will offer a number of facilities such as laundry room, telephone, internet connection, lockers for your things, and a breakfast service. Some may offer more than others. Every establishment on our site has an indication of the facilities it provides, so you can be sure to get what you need.
* Is breakfast included in hostels? Can I cook in hostels? Usually, breakfast is not included in the price, but it′s reasonably cheap and abundant in quantity. Some hostels offer cooking facilities, such as a kitchen complete with pots and everything you need. Other hostels will be more than happy to give you advice about the cheapest bars and food outlets in the neighbourhood.
* Do I need to bring my own bed linen or sleeping bag? This is not an issue if you are booking a Hotel or Bed & Breakfast room. Otherwise, while some hostels do provide linen free of charge, others will apply a charge for this service or simply not offer it. All hostels provide duvets or blankets and private rooms will usually include linen. Once again, it is worth checking the hostel′s microsite before travelling.
